The 10 Avatars or incarnations of Lord Vishnu have been crafted on the side pillars of the Ram Lalla idol
Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha and Vaman on the left.
Parshuram, Ram, Krishna, Buddha and Kalki on the right.
The idol was placed in the sanctum sanctorum of Ayodhya’s Ram Janmabhoomi temple on January 18, setting the stage for the consecration ceremony on Monday. Covered with a veil, the first photo of the idol was revealed during the placement ceremony in the sanctum sanctorum, accompanied by the chanting of prayers.
